Accessibility statement

Last updated October 17, 2026

We build tools that check websites for accessibility issues, so we hold our own site to the same checks. Our goal is for a11ykeeper.com to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA.

How we check this site

We run our own scanner, which uses axe-core with WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 level A and AA rules plus best-practice rules, on our pages in light and dark colour schemes and at desktop and 375px phone widths. On October 17, 2026 that check covered 10 pages of the site and found 0 issues. Automated checks find only part of all issues, so this is not a claim that the site has no problems.

Known limitations

  • Automated tools can't judge everything. We have not had the site tested by an outside accessibility auditor or by people who use assistive technology full time.
  • The home page uses scroll-linked animation and a moving background. When your system is set to reduce motion, these are turned off and the content shows as a normal static page.
  • Our scanner results pages and PDF reports are generated automatically. We check them with the same tools, but not every report by hand.
  • Pages we link to on other sites, such as the W3C demo on our home page, are outside our control.

Tell us about a problem

If something on this site is hard to use, write to hello@a11ykeeper.com. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and, if you can, the browser or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within 5 business days.
